Strong-Bond is Simpson Strong-Tie's fast-cure adhesive for everyday anchoring, bonding and repair in concrete, masonry and stone. Its Color Cure™ technology takes the guesswork out of cure time: the adhesive dispenses blue and turns gray once cured, so you can see when a threaded rod, handrail post or fixture is ready to load. It works in wet or dry conditions and comes in a 10.1 oz cartridge that fits a standard caulking gun.
Strong-Bond is intended for everyday, non-specified anchoring. When plans, an engineer or an inspector call for a code-listed adhesive anchor, use a Simpson Strong-Tie 3G adhesive such as SET-3G™ high-strength epoxy or the fast-setting AT-3G™ hybrid acrylic.
It dispenses blue and turns gray when cured. Wait for the full color change before loading the anchor.

No. The 10.1 oz cartridge fits a standard caulking gun. The Simpson CDT10S manual dispensing tool also works.
Simpson Strong-Tie positions Strong-Bond for everyday, non-specified anchoring. For code-listed applications, choose SET-3G or AT-3G.
