PRODUCT FAQs
Q: Are all of your metal products 100% stainless steel?
A: Yes — every item we sell is made of stainless steel, with no mixed metals. That includes screws, nails, bolts, cable rail, gate hardware, and Simpson connectors.
Q: What’s the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel? (click here to read our article on different stainless steel grades)
A: 304 is the standard grade for general-purpose use. 316 contains molybdenum, making it more resistant to saltwater and harsh environments — ideal for coastal or marine use.
Q: Can I use your fasteners with treated lumber?
A: Yes. Our stainless steel fasteners are safe for use with ACQ and pressure-treated wood, unlike galvanized products that can corrode over time.
Q: Do you carry matching nuts and washers?
A: Absolutely. Most of our bolts have matching stainless steel nuts and washers available for complete fastening systems.

MATERIAL & USAGE FAQS
Q: Will stainless steel rust?
A: Stainless steel resists rust, but 304 may show minor surface discoloration in coastal or highly acidic environments. For harsh conditions, we recommend 316 stainless.
Q: Can I paint stainless steel hardware?
A: While stainless steel can be painted with proper priming, it’s usually not necessary. Many customers prefer the clean, corrosion-resistant finish.
Q: Is your hardware safe for outdoor or marine use?
A: Yes. All of our products are made for exterior durability. For saltwater environments, 316 stainless is recommended.
BUSINESS & BULK ORDER FAQS
Q: Do you offer volume discounts or contractor pricing?
A: Yes! Most of our items have bulk pricing available for large orders.
Q: Can you help with large project takeoffs or material lists?
A: Yes! If you have a blueprint, materials list, or just know what you're building, we can help identify the stainless steel hardware you’ll need — including fastener types, sizes, and quantities. Great for deck builds, fences, railing systems, and more.
Q: Do you ship to businesses or job sites?
A: Absolutely. We can ship directly to job sites or commercial addresses. Just make sure the shipping address is complete and accessible.
